G/A provided full architectural services for the renovation of this 228,000 square foot high school, originally constructed in 1936 in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The facilities were badly in need of code and program related improvements. Theater, science labs and library facilities were modernized, accessibility was upgraded and hazardous materials were removed at several locations. Extensive concrete spalling was repaired, and over it, stucco and paint, and windows were replaced and upgraded. Skylights and energy systems were replaced and upgraded as well.
