An existing material storage for an LBNL maintenance facility was re-purposed to offices for the EH&S department. In order to convert the space into offices, carpet tiles, insulation, rooftop heating and cooling was added. To provide natural light, the existing roll-up doors were removed and a new storefront was installed. G/A maintained a tight budget and finished ahead of schedule.
G/A provided full architectural services, including design and construction documents, management of M/E/P and structural engineers, and limited construction observation, working closely with LBNL’s design/build contractor.
